It was after already making his mark as one of the elite high schoolers in the country, but well before he cemented his legacy as one of the best preps in New York State history, that Adam Busiello committed to Penn State.

In 2016, after wrapping up his freshman season and with a couple of state titles and a Super 32 belt already in tow, the then-#2 wrestling recruit in the Class of 2019 said he'd be a Nittany Lion

Two years, belts, and state titles later, Busiello flipped to Arizona State. Part of the #2 recruiting class in the country for the Sun Devils, it was expected that along with fellow east coast Big Boarders Julian Chlebove and Nick Raimo, the trio would form the future leadoff order for ASU.

But last week, Busiello appeared on the transfer portal, which is part of the process for transferring institutions. Today, he was taken off of the official Arizona State roster.

It begs the question: "Where will Adam Busiello go?"

We have reached out to Adam and are awaiting a response. But the Penn State speculation seems highly plausible. Not only did he commit there as a freshman, but he routinely wore a PSU singlet in many of his high profile events and matches.

Whatever the case may be, we certainly expect him to resurfaces somewhere

We'll keep ya posted.

*** UPDATE ***

Adam has said he isn't making any announcement at this time as nothing has been decided.
