USA Wrestling's Senior Nationals Set For December 20-22 In Fort Worth

The Olympic Year is upon us! The Road to State College goes through Fort Worth, Texas, for the USA Wrestling Senior Nationals, presented by Fort Worth Sports. This event, which is the annual National Championships for Olympic-style wrestling, will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, December 20-22. 

The nation’s top Senior-level wrestlers in the three Olympic events — men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman — will be showcased. 

This event is the most important event in the 2020 Olympic Trials qualifying process. The top five finishers in each of the 18 Olympic weight categories at the Senior Nationals will earn a spot in the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials - Wrestling at Penn State, April 4-5. The 2019-20 2A season looks to be as unpredictable as ever. Unlike Don Bosco and Lisbon in class 1A or Southeast Polk and Waverly-Shell Rock in class 3A, class 2A lacks a perennial championship contender. Union LaPorte City, Centerville, West Delaware, and Winterset will all be in the mix for the team title this season.
