USA Wrestling and Titan Mercury Wrestling released statements today regarding Boyd.

TMWC said the following:

The incident implicating Wayne Boyd did not involve anyone associated with TMWC or any of its affiliates. It involves a strictly personal matter totally unrelated to TMWC.

TMWC is reserving any comments concerning the alleged incidents until the matter is resolved through the pending and ongoing Court proceedings.

USA Wrestling's statement is below:

USA Wrestling has received numerous inquiries about Wayne Boyd of Palm Springs, Calif.

USA Wrestling leadership has learned that Boyd, a former member of USA Wrestling, is on trial for physical and sexual abuse in California.

USA Wrestling immediately referred this matter to the U.S. Center for Safe Sport, and once the criminal case is resolved, the Center will have exclusive jurisdiction to pursue any further relief, if appropriate.

Mr. Boyd is not a current member of USA Wrestling. Any future affiliation with USA Wrestling will be determined after the U.S. Center for Safe Sport concludes its investigation.
