As we are all well aware, Askren has been a bit of a thorn in White’s side for quite some time. The two have engaged in a good amount of trash talking over the years and White had the welterweight contender blocked on Twitter until signing Askren to the UFC. The day after Askren came out on the losing end of a battle for the first time in nine years, White discussed Burroughs coming to the UFC on The Jim Rome Show Tuesday.

"Yeah, listen, I’m always interested in, you know, these guys that are considered the best athletes in the world in whatever it is they do wanting to come to the UFC. Yeah, obviously I’d be very interested," White said.
