Former Midlands champ Mason Smith is transferring to Campbell.

Former Midlands champ Mason Smith is transferring to Campbell to finish out this season.

The redshirt junior is originally from Michigan and began his college career at Central Michigan. He was a two-time NCAA qualifier for the Chippewas, being seeded 10th at the 2018 national tournament.

This summer, Smith transferred from CMU to Arizona State, but he did not wrestle a match for the Sun Devils. He had been entered in the new transfer database for a few months.
