A Tech Maul For Spencer Lee

Iowa's reigning national champ is ranked #1 at 125 and is one of the most dominant wrestlers in any weight class. He will be the heavy favorite over Lehigh's Luke Resnick, to the point where anything less than a tech or pinfall will be a disappointment.

Jordan Kutler Gives Up Zero Takedowns

The biggest favorite for Lehigh will be their 174-pound All-American Jordan Kutler. The Blair Academy product will likely see Jeremiah Moody, a talented but undersized redshirt junior filling in for two injured Hawkeyes, Michael Kemerer and Myles Wilson. Kutler is known for his stingy defense, and beyond picking up a victory, he's our pick to pitch a shoutout form neutral.

Sam Stoll Narrowly Tops Jordan Wood

It's the only potential top-10 matchup in the dual, and it will likely be the last match of the evening. Sam Stoll is the returning All-American and our pick to win, but Jordan Wood can rumble with the best of them, so expect a close match.

Paetzell vs. DeSanto Will Be The Most Electric Match Of The Night

If we had to pick, we're going with last year's bloodround finisher Austin DeSanto. But the prediction we're even more confident in is that the Roadrunner and DeSanchize at 133 will be the most exciting of all the bouts.

Diaper Dandy Josh Humphreys Upsets Kaleb Young

We'll go out on a limb and pick an upset of #7 Kaleb Young by the ferocious true frosh Josh Humphreys. We can't say we're supremely confident in this pick (which is why we put it last), but we've heard nothing but rave reviews about Humphreys, so if there is going to be an upset in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, we suspect it will be at 157-pounds.
