I can’t quite put my finger on how to describe this matchup. Saying it’s a style clash is too easy. Devin Winston and Abe Assad bring such a different vibe to the mat that the mixed bag of what things could look like has me completely scratching my head. But that makes for a hell of an entertaining bout.

Winston is a whole lot to handle. A whole lot of arm. A whole lot of leg. He’s just a whole damn lot. He uses his length very wisely like when he chooses to go with an ankle pick that for most guys would be out of range. He’s got a pretty lax style that almost lulls you into comfort so you’ve got to be careful not to get caught sleeping.
