Last year the Men's Junior Freestyle Team brought back World Gold. Two members of that team (both defending champs) are back for the Stars & Stripes who will compete in Trnava, Slovakia on Monday.

The U.S. Greco and Women's team also have firepower in the form of several returning World medalists.

Below we'll give our picks for Gold in terms of confidence.

10. Jayden Laurent, Wisconsin

It's her Worlds' debut, but she's wrestling well and I got a feelin'.

9. Taylor LaMont, Utah

This is LaMont's 6th World Team. He's wrestled for a medal in the last three.

8. Jacob Warner, Illinois

Warner looked great at last year's Cadets outside of a head-scratching loss to a kid he was better than. If he puts a string of matches together, he's a contender.

7. Men's Freestyle Team

We have two returning Junior Champs, three Cadet World medalists, and two others that have been to a World Championships before. Losing Kerkvliet hurts, and Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Russia will have deep rosters.

6. Macey Kilty, Wisconsin

This year's Cadet World Champ is good enough to double up.

5. Aaron Brooks, Maryland

Brooks keeps getting better and better. Last year's Cadet World Champ should perform well even as a first-year Junior, and even in a killer weight.

4. Cohlton Schultz, Colorado

What was said about Brooks can be echoed here. A Cadet World Champ last year. How will he handle the move to an older field?

3. Kamal Bey, Illinois

A returning Junior Champ, Bey even made the senior team this year.

2. Daton Fix, Oklahoma

Been there. Done that. Fix is looking for his second straight Junior title and his fourth World medal. I put him second behind Gable because 57KG is higher scoring, and thus there exists more opportunities for funky stuff/calls to happen.

1. Gable Steveson, Minnesota

The third of our three returning Junior Champs, Gable won two Cadet titles before moving up last year while he still had Cadet eligibility.
