While on his official visit to Iowa State, #2 Ryan Anderson announced his verbal to the Cyclones.

Anderson is the second major commit from the Class of 2019, along with Fargo finalist Aden Reeves (Albia, IA). With Reeves being ranked third at 120, they form a potent start to the second recruiting class under head coach Kevin Dresser.

It's hard to project what weight Anderson ends up at, but right now we have him as the 4th best 157 pounder. They likely need him to be a bit smaller than that, especially with David Carr looking like a 57/65 for his career.

The Super 32 champ is currently #12 on the Senior Big Board, and the second highest rated recruit from Pennsylvania. Wrestling for national power Bethlehem Catholic, he was a 138lb state champ this year in AAA, and was third last year as a sophomore at 126.

Coming into the fall, he carries a #2 ranking at 145lbs. Last season, he finished third at the Walsh Ironman and was a runner-up at Escape the Rock.
