The top-ranked high school big man is coming off the board as Cadet Greco-Roman World champion Cohlton Schultz has made his verbal commitment to Arizona State.

Schultz, who will compete in both the Junior Greco World Championships and U23 Greco World Championships this year, currently sits atop the rankings at heavyweight as well as the pound-for-pound as the best wrestler in the country. He went undefeated last season, winning titles at Ironman and Doc Buchanan. Schultz capped off his Ironman title run with a fall over PJ Mustipher. But no other wins were as big as his 3-2 win over Seth Nevills, who had never suffered a defeat in his high school career. 

Schultz’s hefty resume also includes titles in Fargo in both freestyle and Greco, along with multiple Colorado state titles. He will fit great into the lineup to take the place of All-American Tanner Hall.
