America's Proudest Moments: JB Over Tsargush In 2011
Happy Fourth of July! Let's celebrate America's birthday with some of our favorite moments in USA wrestling history!

Christian Pyles recounts his favorite moment in American wrestling history:
The 2011 World Championship final between Jordan Burroughs and Denis Tsargush is probably my favorite match of all time. America over Russia. Effort over cheating. You couldn't watch live in 2011. I was following along in some sort of chat room that Jason Bryant was updating since he was there (I think). Watching the match back and seeing how unflappable Jordan was in the face of clear cheating against someone as good as Tsargush was incredible to me (This mans put a hole in JB's singlet). I thought it epitomized what it meant to be a good wrestler: no whining, work hard, make adjustments, be aggressive.
Of course, the end of the match where JB down blocks and re-attacks through Tsargush's face, putting the finishing touches on DT was the cherry on top.
