Cox Can't Be Stopped: Full 2-Match Series
J'den Cox just put on a show to claim a spot on his third straight world team.
Earlier last week, I wrote that J’den Cox would remind us all just how incredible he is this weekend at Final X Lehigh and, man, did he deliver in a huge way to solidify another spot on the world team.
After his last meeting with Hayden Zillmer in the U.S. Open finals, Cox showed that he was much improved since making the move to the OTC by dominating Zillmer during their two-match series. While their opening round was a grinder, one thing that was on full display was Cox’s leg attacks.
In match two, it was an extremely lethal version of the two-time world/Olympic medalist. He didn’t waste any time and got to his attacks very early on his feet and then on the mat as he laced up Zillmer for the quick technical fall.
