For the first time in a very long while, #2 Braxton Amos won’t be in the finals of a tournament. Yes, let that sink in. Amos took a wild loss in the quarterfinals to eventual finalist Peter Christensen.
Ashton Sharp Gets Shutout
Last time we saw Ashton Sharp he was giving a shoutout to the Burger King girl. This time there won’t be any grand standing compliments sent out as he was teched quickly by Jacob Kaminski.
Carter Young Falls In Semis
It didn’t take very long at all. After a takedown and a few turns it was the end of the road for Carter Young as Aizayah Yacapin got the tech to head off to the finals.
Kase Mauger Downed Early
Nearly 20 points on the board was needed in the wild battle between Mauger and eventual finalist Kenneth Crosby.
Hunter Lewis Takes Out Ragusin
After losing the first match in the best-of-three finals, Lewis pinned Ragusin in match 2 to force a third and final match where he got the win and the world team spot.
Carson Manville Teched In Quarters
Manville was flying high with some nice wins heading into the semifinals then Dominic Damon put an end to that pretty quickly.
