FloWrestler Of The Week: Hayden Hidlay, NC State
Hayden Hidlay’s impressive week makes him our FloWrestler of the Week.

The man is unblemished and climbing the rankings.
Hayden Hidlay had a fantastic week as he helped NC State claim a dominating win over Nebraska on Friday and a team title at the Reno Tournament of Champions two days later by winning the 157-pound title. Before his first-place finish in Reno, NV, the redshirt freshman took out No. 7 Tyler Berger 6-3 to start off the road dual against the Cornhuskers.
Following up that performance with a title run really raised the bar for Hidlay. On his way to the finals, he recorded two technical falls, a major, and a decision in the semis to set up a meeting with returning NCAA runner-up Joey Lavallee in the finals. That’s where he capped off his great weekend with a 3-1 overtime win over Lavallee.
Hayden Hidlay’s impressive week makes him our FloWrestler of the Week.
