157 lbs, Semifinal, Michael Kemerer, Iowa vs Justin Staudenmayer, Brown

Iowa freshman Spencer Lee and 13 other Hawkeyes, including Pat Lugo and Jacob Warner, are registered to wrestle at the UNI Open in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Saturday morning at 8 ET.

Eight schools have registered competitors for the tournament, including Iowa, Missouri, Northern Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota State, and South Dakota State.

This is slated to be Lee's highly anticipated debut against NCAA competition. The two-time junior and one-time cadet freestyle world champ has not wrestled a competitive match since his final high school bout last March.

Warner, also a true freshman, has already won two tournaments and eight matches this season, including a jaw-dropping 16-7 major decision over current No. 2-ranked Willie Miklus of Missouri at the Joe Parasi Open.

Lugo, a junior, has not wrestled yet this year for the Hawkeyes after transferring from Edinboro over the summer. He was a two-time NCAA qualifier for the Fighting Scots the previous two seasons. All three Iowa hammers will compete unattached.

Lugo is not mentioned in the University of Iowa press release; however, he is among the 14 Hawkeyes registered as of this afternoon.

The only way way to watch Lee's Iowa debut along with all the other matches at the UNI Open is right here, LIVE ON FLO.

Below is list of all the registered wrestlers as of now. See you tomorrow for all the action!

Tech Notes: Haley Augello vs. Sarah Hildebrandt

Tony Rotundo
Final X Lehigh Hype

Sarah Hildebrandt will obviously make adjustments to how she wrestles Haley Augello this time around. Hildebrandt may own a victory over Augello from their 53kg finals bout at the U.S. Open back in April, but winning a match doesn’t always equate to a perfect performance.

Tech Notes: Victoria Anthony vs. Whitney Conder

Final X Lehigh Hype

Whitney Conder punched her ticket to Final X Lehigh by taking out Victoria Anthony in the finals of the U.S. Open, and now they will go at it once again in the best-of-three series for the 50kg spot on the world team this Saturday at Grace Hall in Bethlehem, PA.
