Trent Hidlay has verbally committed to wrestle for North Carolina State University. Currently the No. 1 ranked 170 pounder in the country, Hidlay will be joining his brother Hayden, currently a redshirt freshman for the Wolfpack.

One of the last major dominoes to fall, he is currently 15th on the Class of 2018 Big Board. That brings NC State's Big Board haul to four, tied for most in the ACC with North Carolina. Hidlay joins Super 32 champ Jakob Camacho, Tyler Barnes and Jarrett Trombley.

He projects as a 174 in college, where we currently have him No. 2 in the prospect rankings behind Aaron Brooks. With NCAA qualifier Nick Reenan likely bumping up to 184 after Pete Renda graduates, Hidlay's competition for the starting spot will probably be Daniel Bullard.

Iowa and Purdue were the other schools on Hidlay's final list.
