The NJRTC was originally announced almost exactly a year ago as a joint development between Princeton University and Rutgers University. News about the training center has been sparse ever since, but that changes in a big way with the hire of Humphrey.

Humphrey is a two-time NCAA All-American for the Ohio State Buckeyes, finishing as high as second his junior year in 2009. After graduating, Humphrey became a staple on the international freestyle senior circuit, making the USA world team three times, in 2011, 2013, and 2015.
Humphrey will stay on at his current post as coach at the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club in Southern California until April, when he will travel cross country and begin building up the NJRTC.
