We're less than 10 days away from his much ballyhooed MMA debut, and the hype train for young Pico has reached full steam. In the promotional ad from Bellator above, Pico gives us his take on recent world team trials champ Zain Retherford:
I'm 6-0 against him, he's never beaten me. I would beat him again.
Retherford, a two-time NCAA champ and this year's Hodge trophy winner, is one of the most dominant wrestlers in recent memory. But he was never quite able to get one on Pico. The 2013 cadet world champ also brought up his insane comeback against Jayson Ness at last year's Olympic Trials.

Pico's not the only one taking shots at Retherford lately, either. Just two days ago, Jordan Oliver came at Zain on twitter. Ultimately though, it's Retherford we'll see in Paris and Pico we'll see make his professional debut next Saturday night in Madison Square Garden at Bellator 180. He'll be taking on Zach "The Altar Boy" Freeman, who had some choice words of his own for the two-time junior world medalist.
