NHSCA National Duals Day 1 Wrap-Up
Day 1 of the NHSCA National Duals is in the books. We recap the major events and give you all the links you need to follow along when Days 2 and 3 come along.
The heavy hitters at the NHSCA National Duals rolled through day one with nary a blemish on their team scores in Virginia Beach, VA, on Saturday.
To the surprise of no one, Team Kong United dispatched their first three opponents with ease. Their closest match ended 67-6 against Young Guns Orange.
Team Shutt, Bison Legend Orange, South Florida Lightning/CFWA, Young Guns Black, and Indiana High Rollers Black all won their three matches by similar margins.

Forty-one other teams advanced as pool winners as well, including the excellently named Prestige Worldwide, who shut out all three of their opponents.

Day two at the Virginia Beach Convention Center will continue with a full slate of pool play in new groups of four, based on Saturday's results. Pool winners and runners-up will continue in new championship pools. Third- and fourth-place finishers are redrawn into the consolation pools.

In non-competition news, No. 5-ranked Gavin Hoffman, wrestling for the currently undefeated Bison Legend Orange, gave his verbal commitment live on Flo. You can relive the moment by clicking here.
