No. 2 Michael Beard Commits
After changing his mind a few months ago, Michael Beard has made up his mind.
At the end of March, No. 2 Michael Beard announced via Twitter that he had changed his mind about his original commitment to Northwestern and that he would be re-opening his recruitment.
Now just a few months later he has made the decision to verbally commit the No. 1 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions.

Now just a few months later he has made the decision to verbally commit the No. 1 ranked Penn State Nittany Lions.
I've decided to verbally commit to Penn State because of the great opportunities I have there. I feel as if I fit in perfectly with the coaching staff and the team. #WeAreBeard finished his junior season with another National Prep title at 195-pounds after defending his No. 1 spot at 182 against Jelani Embree at Who's #1 to start the season in The Snakepit. He projects as a 197-pound for the Nittany Lions.
