After graduating from Penn State, Molinaro spent two seasons as a Rutgers assistant and then served as an assistant in Happy Valley, PA, with his alma mater for two years. He was a four-time All-American at PSU and the 2012 national champion for the Nittany Lions.
Frayer was a two time All-American at Oklahoma, his highest finish being second in 2002. After graduating, Frayer was an assistant head coach at Harvard, Wisconsin, and most recently at OU from 2011 to 2014.

Robie is filling the VT assistants postitions after Derek St. John and Mike Zadick left to join former Hokies coach Kevin Dresser at Iowa State.
