106: Zach Shupp, OH vs Sam Latona, AL

You know Latona from when you saw him wrestle on the big stage in Fargo. But you might not know Shupp, who beat two nationally relevant wrestlers to reach the finals of the Ohio big school division a couple weeks ago.

152: Danny Braunagel, IL vs. Jared Franek, ND

Two Juniors that are likely to be hot commodities on the recruiting trail this summer. Braunagel was 5th at Fargo last year at 152 while Franek took home the stop sign at 145.

145: Peyton Mocco, WI vs. Jamar Williams, MD

I lost count of how many college recruiters said to me today, 'Hey, Askren's 145lber is pretty dang good.' It sets up for a fun and interesting bout with Mocco and Ohio State verbal Jamar Williams, who by all accounts is a real talent. The intrigue lies in the fact that we haven't really gotten to see Williams against top competition.

106: Dylan Ryder, NY vs Doug Zapf, PA

The state champs from NY and PA big schools? Yes, please. Zapf was a virtual unknown heading into the state tournament while Ryder is ranked 14th and is coming off an NHSCA title.

152: Robbie Patrick, PA vs. Edmond Ruth, PA

This is a rematch of the PA AA state final won by Ruth. Last week, Patrick was Runner-Up at NHSCA JR's while Ruth won the Sophomore division.

152: Carter Starocci, PA vs. Josh Stillings, PA

State Runner-Up vs. State Runner-Up. Both guys will likely be Top 100 recruits. Starocci lost to Cam Coy in 152 state finals; Stillings lost to Trent Hidlay at 160.
