This weekend NCAA Wrestling gave us plenty of matches that surprised us and will have a direct impact on tomorrow's NCAA Wrestling rankings.  Here were the top 8 biggest upsets.

8) #5 Ryan Preisch dec #2 Zach Epperly, Virginia Tech, 3-1

Epperly was unbeaten on the year, but hadn't faced a particularly rigorous schedule.  Preisch is a known stud at this point and this win just cements that fact even further.

7) #6 Darian Cruz, Lehigh dec #2 Joey Dance, Virginia Tech, 4-2

Very similar story to the previously mentioned bout.  Dance has been solid, winning CKLV, but hasn't faced many of the big contenders this year.  The loss to Cruz was pretty surprising.

6) Sal Profaci, Michigan dec #16 Randy Cruz, Lehigh, 3-2

Profaci has been solid for Michigan this year.  Match to match, nobody knows what to expect from Randy Cruz.  He didn't have it this match and fell to Profaci.

5) #20 Thomas Haines, Lock Haven dec #11 Billy Miller, Edinboro, 4-3

The four-time PA champ is beginning to hit his stride.  Haines takes out Miller in the 5th biggest upset of the week.

4) #5 Jacob Kasper, Duke maj #3 Ty Walz, Virginia Tech,  15-7

A five beating a three doesn't really rate as a huge upset typically, but it's very rare to see Walz lose to someone outside his tier.  Kasper once again is proving he is a real threat to place and place high in St. Louis.

3) Malik Amine, Michigan dec #9 Laike Gardner, Lehigh, 5-4

Amine has had a pretty limited schedule thus far.  This was only his 10th d1 match of the season, but he made it count with the 5-4 win over a consistent and tough Laike Gardner.

2) Jonathan Viruet, Brown dec #8 Dylan Palacio, Cornell, 14-13

If you see a 14-13'ish type of score, odds are Dylan Palacio and 4-5 reversals were involved.  Viruet beating Palacio is surprising when you consider the number of unranked losses Viruet has to his credit.  Palacio has been MIA much of the year, so it's a wonder if he's even close to peak Palacio.

1) Dylan Wisman, Missouri dec #6 Kyle Crutchmer, Ok State,  4-1

Wisman has been notorious for being right there in matches, but falling short.  This is by far the biggest win of his d1 career.  If Wisman is for real, it's another bullet in their chamber.  Crutchmer has been all over the place this year, looking amazing against Meyer, before falling to Kocer later on.
