It's not just college wrestling that ramps up as January begins. It is also the time of year when we start seeing the best freestylers in the world begin their winter tours. Included in that is the Yarygin, annually considered one of the toughest tournaments in the world.

Last year, rumors swirled about then-defending world champion Frank Chamizo competing at 65kg and also Abdulrashid Sadulaev bumping up to 97kg, setting up a potential dream matchup with Kyle Snyder.

While neither of those scenarios came to fruition, we still saw the emergence of Anzor Boltukaev, who beat Snyder and Jake Varner, only to collapse in an 0-1 performance in Rio.

This year, we again don't know if Chamizo or Sadulaev will be competing in Krasnoyarsk on Jan. 27-29, which would be the first competition for both since winning Olympic medals in August. But we do know that they are both participating in the Dagestani training camp.

The caption reads, "The perfect place to clear your mind of everything #makhachkala," which is the capital of the Republic of Dagestan.

The videos below are all in Russian, however, we can clearly see Sadulaev and Chamizo, as well as Golden Grand Prix champ Shamil Kudiyamagomedov and junior world champ Khasan Hussein Badrudinov.
