FloWrestler of the Week: Justin Mejia, Clovis
He started out slow, but Justin Mejia had a triumphant return to the mat as he claimed his third Doc Buchanan Invitational tournament title in Clovis, California, on Saturday.

After missing about a month of competition, the three-time California state champion emerged this past weekend at his high school's annual national tournament and completed a great title run, which was capped off by a 6-0 shutout victory over No. 14 Jaden Abas to claim his third cowboy hat.

Mejia's title run also consisted of a dominating 12-2 win over Robert Garcia in the semifinals before the Clovis senior finished everything off by shutting out Abas.

Justin Mejia's gutsy, yet dominant, performance to take home his third Doc B title makes him our FloWrestler of the Week.

Other FloWrestler of the Week Nominees:

Seth Nevills, Clovis: Won his third straight Doc B title by pinning his way through the tournament.

Anthony Mantanona, Palm Desert: Won the 170-pound Doc B title with all bonus point wins, including a fall in the finals.

Layne VanAnrooy, Roseburg: Battled to a 5-3 win in the finals over Brandon Martino of Clovis to take home his third Doc B title.

Aaron Studebaker, Nebraska: Pinned No. 5 Matt McCutcheon in 6:01.
