The Iowa Hawkeyes started their first leg of their Michigan road trip in Ann Arbor against the University of Michigan. The big story coming away from the Hawkeyes 31-7 win was the return of three-time All-American and two-time NCAA Finalist, Cory Clark. Clark was tested by Michigan's Stevan Micic. Micic nearly scored the go-ahead reversal before Clark dove under and remained in control from the top position.
