Three-time Montana state champion Parker Filius has committed to Purdue giving the Boilermakers their first top 100 recruit in the class of 2017. Parker is currently ranked 12th at 138, and 72nd on the Senior Big Board.
Parker is a two-time Fargo Junior Freestyle placer taking 8th last summer, and sixth this year. This summer in Fargo, Filius knocked off Michigan state champ, Ben Freeman, and Missouri state champ Nikolas Chavez. His only losses inside the Fargo Dome came to graduated seniors: Kanen Storr, Carter Happel, and Mitch McKee.

Filius chose Purdue over North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Minnesota. He projects at 141/149.
