Cornell Head Coach Rob Koll's newsletters are always good for a few gems.   This year, Koll alluded to a few major lineup changes for the Big Red.

A year ago, Mark Grey and Brian Realbuto made weight class changes.  Grey from 133 to 141 and Realbuto going from 157 to 174.

Neither finished with the results they had hoped for.  Grey struggled with injury and was unable to remain in the starting lineup.  Realbuto, who was an NCAA Finalist as a Sophomore, failed to win a match at NCAA's.  Making matters worse, Realbuto suffered an injury in his round one loss against Lelund Weatherspoon.

Coach Koll wrote the following about Mark Grey:

"Mark Grey plans on making his way back down to his former weight class. In the two years Mark wrestled at 133 he made the rounds of 12 and 16 at the NCAA tournament respectively. Mark has struggled with health issues but if he can stay healthy and effectively manage his weight, there is no reason to believe he could not finish his career as an All-American."

Regarding Realbuto's descent down to 165, Koll explained the rationale for Realbuto changing weights:

"174 will be up for grabs assuming Brian Realbuto drops back down to 165. He had to have surgery after last year's NCAA tournament and I am not sure he has kept the size to go 174. In the case that Brian is at 165 we have a cast of characters competing for the 174 starting nod."

The Cornell Big Red lineup will likely look something like this next year:

125 - Dalton Macri
133 - Mark Grey, Chas Tucker
141 - Dylan Realbuto
149 - Joey Galasso
157 - Dylan Palacio
165 - Brian Realbuto
174 - Dylan Artigliere
184 - Gabe Dean
197 - Owen Scott
285 - Jeramy Sweany
