FloWrestler of the Week: Wyatt Sheets
He may have had a slow start with a 5-2 win in his first match of the tournament, but Wyatt Sheets picked up steam pretty fast as he cruised to the 152-pound Cliff Keen/Journeymen Freestyle Classic title.

After that first win, Sheets mowed down the rest of his opponents with a fall in the second round before taking out Cadet World Champ Jarod Verkleeren 11-3 in the third to put him in the gold medal match against two-time New York state champ Frankie Gissendanner (below).

Sheets was able to keep rolling and picked up the 10-5 decision in the finals to take home the title over Gissendanner. His great run makes him our FloWrestler of the Week.

Other FloWrestler of the Week Nominees:

Ian Parker: He was a silent killer over the weekend as he tech'ed his way through the tournament to take home the 132-pound title. To claim the gold, he recorded a 12-2 tech fall over Inalbek Sheriev of Russia.

Yianni Diakomihalis: Already looking like he’s back to his world championship form. Yianni took out Sammy Sasso, Imran Heard and Ben Freeman to claim the Journeymen title at 138 lbs. He even caused a little drama at the end of the tournament. Check out his interview below, where he explains what happened and his goals for the freestyle season.

Jordan Crace: Picked up wins over Travis Ford-Melton and Asa Garcia at NWCA/USAW Scholastic Duals.
