Year in year and year out the NHSCA National Wrestling Championships is one of the premiere high school national tournaments in the country. Thousands of wrestlers from coast to coast will descend on Virginia Beach looking to claim All-American honors with hopes of a national title. Last year's tournament featured nearly 3,500 across all four age divisions. The freshman division alone featured 45 state champions and over 200 state place winners.
NHSCA National's consists of four tournaments, and offers the unique opportunity for wrestlers to compete against other wrestlers in their grade. Modeled after the NCAA Division I Championship, the NHSCA National Wrestling Championships affords you the very best competition in the country and best chance to be noticed by college coaches. Over 200 college and university wrestling coaches attended the tournament last season. The top 8 place finishers in each weight class will officially be declared Freshman All-Americans and will also be recognized at the National High School Sports Hall of Fame Museum.
NHSCA Nationals alumni have gone onto have great success on the college level as well. On average NHSCA Nationals alumni make up 15 of the 20 NCAA Division 1 finalists, and 56 of the 80 NCAA Division I All-Americans.

Nico Aguilar, CA (Fargo Champ), Anthony Artalona, FL (Double Fargo Champ), Gavin Hoffman, PA (State Champion), Tanner Litterell, OK (3x State Champion), Jarrett Degen, MT (2x NHSCA Champ, 4x state champion), and that is just to name a few. A season ago Kenny Brinson was looking to make history and win his fourth NHSCA National title, but West Virginia recruit Austin Meyers was able to derail history. Watch the historic final here:
