The bout between Kyle Snyder and Nick Gwiazdowski was an epic match which is being dubbed one of the greatest heavyweight finals ever.
Snyder, who started the season on an Olympic redshirt, put his NCAA finals demons of last year to bed as he defeated the two-time NCAA champ snapping his 88-match winning streak in the process. The match had everyone on their feet as the two big men scrambled and put on a show to cap off the college season. Early in the match, it was all about Gwiz. He countered and scored on Snyder's attacks as he built up a 5-2 lead, but after an escape and takedown by Snyder which was followed up by a rideout that sent the match into overtime.
The epic battle culminated with a re-attack by Snyder in the overtime period that Gwiz wasn't able to counter resulting in a win and incredible finish to the season.
It's the great performance by Kyle Snyder that made him the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament and our FloWrestler of the Week presented by Cliff Keen.
Myles Martin, Ohio State: He went from having a redshirt season to the 11-seed at NCAA's to avenging early season losses to Bo Nickal all at once. And now, Myles Martin is a true freshman National Champ.

Zain Retherford, Penn State: Dominated the entire field with all bonus point wins to collect his first National title. His performance didn't go unnoticed as he was awarded the honor of Most Dominant Wrestler.
Alex Dieringer, Oklahoma State: Claimed his third straight NCAA title and finished his season undefeated for the second straight year. He also capped off his 82 match winning streak.
Isaiah Martinez, Illinois: Won his second straight NCAA title with a win over Jason Nolf.
