Several months after the news of state sponsored doping in Russia was revealed, Nikita Kamaev, the Russian Doping Chief has been found dead from an apparent "massive heart attack."

Kamaev stepped down in December in the midst of the Russian Doping controversy.

Interestingly, Kamaev was reportedly working on a book that documented his time as the Russian Doping Chief.  Evidently friends and loved ones discouraged him from writing the book, but he continued with the project.  More info can be found here.
