Dave Schultz Memorial international

20 years ago yesterday, the United States lost one of its biggest wrestling icons, Dave Schultz. Working in conjunction with his wife, Nancy Schultz, USA Wrestling was able to establish the Dave Schultz Memorial International in his honor. This year’s Dave Schultz Memorial International is as important as ever with the highest placing American who has yet to qualify for the U.S. Olympic trials will punch his ticket to Iowa City in April. The tournament kicks off tomorrow with Greco Roman, Friday will feature Men’s freestyle, and the tournament will finish with Women’s freestyle on Sunday.
