I know I’m a College guy, but I can’t help but get EXTREMELY fired up for this week's Eastern States Classic. It gets rolling January 15th and 16th. All 9 mats will be streamed live on FloWrestling and brackets will be on FloArena!

When I saw the entries list my jaw hit the floor! Here are my top guys to watch this week at Eastern States:

#1 Adam Busiello, Eastport

Hopefully he’s sporting the same mullet he had at Super 32. This kid is already a Super 32 Champ as well as a NY State Champ and 2-time State finalist. That's a lot of accolades and he's only a Freshman!

#2 Vitali Arujau, Syosset

Vito has really come into his own of late. He smashed his way through Fargo, has beaten Nick Suriano AND Daton Fix all in a 2 weeks span. The arc on this kid is amazing. His physicality and hand fighting for a junior is rare.

#1 Mason Manville, Wyoming Seminary

NBD, just a Cadet World Champion and #1 ranked guy in the country. Manville has flipped a switch since going to Wyoming Seminary winning Super 32 and beating Hayden Hidlay in 3 straight after struggling against him at Fargo (twice) and Journeyman.

#1 Nick Reenan, Wyoming Seminary

Among the most skilled and dominant big men we’ve seen in some time, Nick Reenan is the definition of a show-stopper. The guy hasn’t tasted victory since his Cadet Trials loss nearly 2 years ago to Beau Breske. He’s the consensus #1 guy in the country in probably 3 different weights.

#1 Yianni Diakomihalis, Hilton

Another World Champ in the mix! Yianni could be my favorite guy to watch at the high school level. Even in defeat Yianni is very impressive. His leg attacks continue to improve and his throw by’s are excellent. When you’re on his leg he can counter as well as many college wrestlers. Also, DO NOT let your head near your knee, because you will be cradled.

Other Hammers To Watch:

#11 Louie Deprez, Hilton 170
Kellen Devlin, Amherst 132
#9 Christian Dietrich, Wyoming Seminary 182
Trent Olson, Wyoming Seminary 132
