The 2015 Pan American Games came to a conclusion tonight for the wrestling portion.  Team USA went out with a bang taking 3 out of 4 weights with  Jake Herbert the lone Silver. Jordan Burroughs,  Kyle Snyder and Zach Rey  all took home titles in dominant fashion.  

Burroughs and Snyder completely outclassed their opponents with technical falls.  Jake Herbert faced a familiar nemesis in Salas.  The big holds of Salas proved to be too much to overcome though Herbert made it interesting late.  Snyder edged out his opponent with a shot clock point and 2 step out points.

Period 2: Rey picks up his pace and gets a step out.  Rey nearly gets a push out, sticks with it and gets another. 3-0 Zach.  Rey warned for passivity. 40 to go.  Time runs out and Rey gives a flex! Rey wins 3-0.

Period 1: Snyder bounds up the stairs to the mat.  Nice smile on his face and we're underway.  Snyder getting inside control and pulling.  Quick single and finish!  2-0 Kyle.  Snyder defends a shot easily and gets a quick go behind.  4-0 Snyder. Snyder fakes a high single.  Now gets to an underhook right side.  Official breaks them up.  Passivity warning against Gill. Ankle pick for Snyder and it's 6-0.  Front headlock, go behind and it's 8-0 Kyle.  Making it look too easy here. Period ends.
