FloWrestler of the Week: Hayden Hidlay, Pennsylvania
Hayden Hidlay achieved ironman status at the Junior National Duals.
The top-ranked 152-pounder in the country was a combined 17-0 (9-0 in Greco and 8-0 in freestyle) as team Pennsylvania placed 5th in Greco and 4th in Freestyle both in the Bronze/Silver pool.
In one of the best matches of the weekend, Hidlay went toe-to-toe with Oklahoma’s Wyatt Sheets and came out on top 11-10. It was truly a fan favorite of the weekend. But Hidlay really defended his number one spot against some of the best competition in the country.
He was as dominant as ever as he wrestled in every single dual for team PA. And that is what makes Hayden Hidlay the FloWrestler of the Week.

The human highlight reel was at it again as he went recorded an unblemished record at Junior Duals. He even bumped up to 182-pounds and took out #5-Owen Webster and Jordan Dieringer in Greco as well as defeating Oklahoma’s Hayden Hansen and New Jersey’s Joe Grello in Freestyle.
Was a combined 13-0 between Greco and Freestyle. He collected wins over PA’s Jacob Lizak, Michigan’s Ian Parker, Iowa’s Nolan Hellickson, Minnesota’s Cam Sykora and Illinois’ Austin Gomez as Oklahoma claimed it’s second straight Junior Freestyle championship.
Defeated Brock Zacherl in the 60kg wrestle off to claim another spot on the Junior World team. After a 10-0 tech in the first match he edged Zacherl 6-4 in the second.
The future Lehigh Mountain Hawk was on a mission as he went 6-0 and outscored his opponents 64-0 as he record every win by technical fall at the Junior Freestyle National Duals.
