After winning the UWW Junior National tournament with a convincing win over Myles Martin in Las Vegas, Zahid Valencia collected another title at the Mithat Bayrak and Ismet Atli Junior International in Turkey. 

En route to his 84kg championship, Valencia, who was competing in his first international tournament, recorded three straight technical fall shutouts before he capped things off with a 2-2 win over Russian Zharuel Shapiev in the final.
