Now it is being reported that Jones was involved in a car accident and beyond that there are mixed stories as to what else went down.
Jones, the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion was scheduled to fight #1 contender Anthony Johnson at UFC 187. That fight is reportedly off in light of the recent news about Jones. Jones was a New York State Champ as well as a JUCO champion at Iowa Central Community College. MMA Media Personality Front Row Brian helped break the story and provided key details on the Bones accident.
At this point, this is largeley hearsay, but with a number of connected MMA Journalists reporting on the various details of the story.
