W2W4: Waters Playing With Fire?
Big weekend with some huge matchups from Friday-Sunday!

All times listed are EST!

Friday, January 30th

Princeton at Cornell, 6:30 PM
At 197 #11 Abe Ayala will face #15 Jace Bennett once again. Bennett is coming off a big win against Riddick.

Penn State at Michigan, 7:00 PM
At 133 Jimmy Gulibon will look for a win against Rossi Bruno who has missed the last few duals for Michigan. At 149 Zach Beitz locks up with Alec Pantaleo. Pantaleo has been as advertised as a True Freshman. These two split last year as Dylan Alton and Brian Murphy will renew their rivalry once again. Big spot for Matt McCutcheon against the super-talented Domenic Abounader. Should be a tight one! Will Morgan McIntosh stay hot against Max Huntley? Coon can get back on track with a win over the higher-ranked Jimmy Lawson.

Iowa at Minnesota, 7:00 PM
Cory Clark will face #1 Chris Dardanes at 133. Huge match that will go a long way in determining the dual winner. Josh Dziewa will face Nick Dardanes. Dziewa is the underdog here, but with Grothus potentially breathing down his neck a big win could go a long way for Dziewa. Mike Kelly will look to keep it close against Dylan Ness. Good luck with that. Nick Moore looks to keep it rolling against Nick Wanzek. Mike Evans will look for a win over Logan Storley. Storley has had the upper hand traditionally here but is coming off a loss to Matt Brown. Absolutely huge one at 184 when Sammy Brooks faces Brett Pfarr. Minny needs this one. Last time around Scott Schiller dominated Nathan Burak. Burak has been solid this year. #1 Bobby Telford will take on Mike Kroells.

Purdue at Ohio State, 7:00 PM
Danny Sabatello will get to show if his win over Gulibon is the new trend for him against Johhni DiJulius. Same thing for Doug Welch as he’s beaten some big guns this year and now faces Josh Demas. Chad Welch can climb with an upset win over Mark Martin. Braden Atwood will try his luck against the excellent Kyle Snyder.

Ohio at Old Dominion, 7:30 PM
All MAC battle at 149 as Tywan Claxton faces Lenny Richardson.

Maryland at Illinois, 8:00 PM
Geoff Alexander will look for an upset against Zane Richards at 133.

Nebraska at Northwestern, 8:00 PM
Anthony Abidin may be one of the hottest guys in the country, he takes on a solid Jameson Oster at 141. NCAA Champ Jason Tsirtsis will face Justin Arthur.

North Dakota State at Air Force, 10:30 PM
Josh Rodriguez may face Josh Martinez, though we haven’t seen him much lately.

Saturday, January 31:

Iowa State at Oklahoma, 3:00 PM
Earl Hall will take on Cody Brewer who has managed to not face much competition all year. Big spot for him.

Northern Iowa at Missouri, 8:00 PM
Dylan Peters is a potential upset special against Alan Waters who has clung to some tight wins after hour weigh ins (Klimara and Tomasello come to mind). Blaize Cabell will face Devon Mellon at 285.

Sunday, February 1:

Ohio State at Rutgers, 12:00 PM
Johnni DiJulius faces his 2nd tough opponent of the weekend with Scott Delvecchio.
Logan Stieber matches up against Anthony Ashnault once again. It was a 9-1 major for Logan last time around. Will we see Hunter Stieber against Ken Theobold of Rutgers?
Josh Demas will take on All American Anthony Perrotti of Rutgers.
Kyle Snyder takes on Andrew Campolattano who has struggled out of the gate.
Nick Tavanello will face Billy Smith of Rutgers at 285.

Rider at Hofstra, 1:00 PM
BJ Clagon will look to climb the ranks against Cody Ruggirello at 149.

Illinois at Purdue, 2:00 PM
Both Zane Richards and Danny Sabatello have tough weekends. Big spot for Sabatello to keep climbing. Both Isaiah Martinez and Doug Welch have beaten James Green this year. Should be a great one. Zac Brunson faces Chad Welch at 174.

Virginia at Virginia Tech, 2:00 PM- LIVE ON FLO! (No archives of matches after so if you don’t see it live, you don’t see it!)

Joey Dance takes on a very savvy Nick Herrmann who has challenged Joey in the past. George DiCamillo dominated Kevin Norstrem last time around. Norstrem is very talented and could narrow the gap here. Could we see Devin Carter v. Joe Spisak? Last time they faced it was when Devin tore his hamstring. Last time around Sal Mastriani took Gus Sako down, but Sako has always been dangerous.

Nick Brascetta will make his return for the Hokies against Andrew Atkinson.
Nick Sulzer nearly fell to Chad Strube last time around. Sulzers response?
The rematch! Blaise Butler will look for another win against Zach Epperly at 174.

North Dakota State at Wyoming, 2:00 PM
Joshua Rodriguez will face one of the most entertaining guys in the country in Tyler Cox!
Hayden Zillmer will have a very tough Ben Stroh who is unranked but always tough.

Stanford at Boise State, 3:00 PM
At 141 we’ll have Geo Martinez against Isaiah Locsin.
