Flowrestling, proud partner of USA Wrestling, is continuing its live coverage of USA Wrestling national events this weekend with the 2014 World Team Trials in Madison, Wis.

The World Team Trials coverage will span from Friday May 30 to Sunday June 1 featuring four tournaments including the Men and Women’s freestyle Senior World Team Trials and the FILA Junior freestyle and Greco-Roman World Team Trials.

Every match from each tournament will be streamed live on Flowrestling.com over the three-day period of the event.

The champions of the Senior World Team Trials tournaments will compete at the 2014 senior World Championships on September 8-14 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Similarly the FILA Junior World Team Trials champions will compete at the 2014 FILA Junior World Championships on August 5-10 in Zagreb, Croatia.

Expected to compete in Madison are two-time World Champion and Olympic Champion Jordan Burroughs, Olympic Champion Jake Varner, Olympic bronze medalists Clarissa Chun, Coleman Scott and Randi Miller, World Champions Elena Pirozhkova and Adeline Gray, Junior World Champion Kyle Snyder and Cadet World Champion Aaron Pico.

The potential for instant classic matchups is higher than ever.

Jordan Burroughs and David Taylor could square off for a third time in the best of three finals series at 74 kg/163 lbs. Burroughs narrowly escaped Taylor in the finals of April’s U.S. Open, scoring two takedowns in the final minute to edge the electric Taylor.

Brent Metcalf will await the challenge tournament victor at 66 kg/145 lbs. in a loaded field that includes Kellen Russell, Jordan Oliver, Frank Molinaro and Reece Humphrey.

At 86 kg/189 lbs., Ed Ruth, Clayton Foster and Jon Reader will battle it out for a spot in the finals series against Keith Gavin. This weight provided wild and crazy matches at the U.S. Open, and expect that trend to continue.

Two-time World bronze medalist Alyssa Lampe will await a loaded 48 kg/105 lbs. challenge tournament winner as Victoria Anthony and Clarissa Chun appear to be on a collision course to battle it out for a finals spot.

At 69 kg/152 lbs., Randi Miller will continue her comeback season looking to dethrone last year’s World Team member Veronica Carlson and solidify her place at the top of the weight class.

The 2014 World Team Trials is one of the must see wrestling events of the year fans will not want to miss.
