Flo Fantasy League Is Drafted And Running
Christian Pyles
It took some time, and was a bit old school, but the teams are drafted! Through a few hundred text messages and message board posts, we were able to knock out the draft.
Now the fun begins.
Here you can meet the players and see the rosters of the first ever official FLO Fantasy College Wrestling League.
The order in which the roster is posted was the draft order.
A quick reminder how this works: You turn in one lineup a week. You start 11 total wrestlers. 1 at each weight and 1 flex. Scores are calculated each week. To make the playoffs you need to be in the top 5 for an at large bid. If you don't qualify for an at large bid you'll need to win the conference week to earn the final Wild Card spot.
Here's a rundown of the players with a brief bio, their roster, and a quick note on their team composition.
Luke Pletcher-Luke is a Sophomore at Greater Latrobe HS in PA. He was a state champ a year ago, won Super 32 this year and is currently ranked 2nd in the country at 120 pounds.
His team is really solid, as you'd expect it to be with the first pick. He has a very well rounded bench. His average ranking is 7.6, which is tied for the 6th highest average.
125-Joey Dance, Evan Silver
133-AJ Schopp, Shelton Mack
141-Evan Henderson, Dan Neff
149-Andrew Alton, Chris Villalonga
157-Dylan Ness
165-Tyler Caldwell
174-Tony Dallago,
184-Ed Ruth, Lorenzo Thomas,
197-Nick Heflin, Nick Bonaccorsi
285-Connor Medbery
Steve Widzinski-Steve is a Michigan native who runs MichiganGrappler.com
Another solid team. He drafted very wisely getting depth behind his weaker weights. He is currently tied with Pletcher for 6th with a 7.6 average ranking.
125-Tim Lambert, Connor Youtsey
133-Geoff Alexander, Nick Soto
141-Nick Lester, Tyler Small
149-Josh Kindig
157-James Green, Ryan Watts,
165-David Taylor
174-Cody Walters, Tanner Weatherman
184-Ryan Loder, Gabe Dean
197-Kyven Gadson
285-Nick Gwiazdowski
Christian Pyles-CP is the Flowrestling College Analyst. In his spare time he gives life lessons and advice to Nick Velliquette.
What can I say, I like my team (as does everyone). Not thrilled about every weight (49, 65 and 74 are question marks). I feel I've got a lot of talent though and NCAA upside. I currently have the 2nd highest ranked team with a 6.4 average.
125-Cory Clark
133-Cody Brewer, David Thorn
141-Logan Stieber
149-David Habat, Mike Kelly
157-Brian Realbuto
165-Danny Zilverberg, Joe Booth
174-Dom Kastl, Mat MIller
184-Kevin Steinhaus, Ben Stroh
197-Morgan McIntosh, J'Den Cox
285-Mike McMullan
Rich Brunetti-Rich is a diehard fan of wrestling at all levels. The PA native was a college football player and currently is the father of two wrestlers. He is on the board for the Escape the Rock tournament and is a youth wrestling coach.
Rich's team has some question marks. He's very unproven in two weights (41 and 84) and doesn't have the title contending pop you'd like to see apart from Maple (who has looked vulnerable). He currently has the 12th ranked team with an average ranking of 9.72.
125-Tyler Cox
133-Jon Morrison, Jimmy Gulibon,
141-Anthony Collica, Josh Dziewa,
149-Kendric Maple, Tywan Claxton
157-RJ Pena
165-Steven Monk
174-Robert Kokesh
184-Patrick Downey, Max Huntley, Sam Brooks
197-Christian Boley
285-Spencer Myers, Amarveer Dhesi
Matt Herrick-Herrick is currently the Head Coach for T3 Wrestling Club. He is also an assistant at North Alleghany Youth Club. He has a 4 year old son that wrestles in that program.
Herrick's team is solid, but not spectacular. He has 3 133's all of which are about the same level give or take. He could use better bench depth , but I loved his pick of Retherford at 141. He is currently the 11th ranked team with an average ranking of 9.3.
125-Nathan Kraisser, Dom Parisi
133-Jordan Conaway, Nick Wilcox, Zane Richards
141-Zain Retherford
149-Bryce Busler
157-Tristan Warner
165-Ryan Leblanc
174-Logan Storley
184-Max Thomusseit
197-Blake Rosholt, Caleb Kolb, Jace Bennett
285-Tony Nelson, PJ Tasser
Willie Saylor-Willie is the Editor of Flowrestling, High School Wrestling guru, and a man of the people. Saylor is a native of Easton, PA where he had a successful career wrestling for the Red Rovers.
Real solid team. No holes at all. What will hurt him is a lack of title contenders outside of Howe. He has nothing but quality on his team, so he should qualify for the playoffs with little issue. He currently has the 9th ranked team with an average ranking of 7.8.
125-Anthony Zanetta, Josh Martinez
133-Mark Grey
141-Mitchell Port, Adam Krop
149-Zach Neibert, Mitch Minotti
157-Kyle Bradley, Max Schneider
165-Mike Moreno
174-Andrew Howe
184-Johnny Eblen, Vic Avery
197-Richard Perry, Danny Mitchell
285-Austin Marsden
Kyle Snyder-Where to begin? The Woodbine, MD native is the reigning 2013 Junior World Champ at 96 KG. He is currently training at the OTC and will be attending Ohio State University. Kyle is currently ranked as the #1 high school wrestler in the country.
Kyle did a nice job. He got great value with all his picks. I was impressed every step of the way. He currently has the 5th ranked team with an average ranking of 7.27. I loved the pick of his brother too!
125-Jarrod Patterson
133-Tony Ramos
141-Devin Carter
149-Nick Dardanes, Ian Paddock
157-Nestor Taffur, Ian Miller
165-Josh Veltre, Zach Toal
174-Bryce Hammond, Kevin Radford
184-Boaz Beard
197-Travis Rutt
285-Adam Chalfant, Joe Stolfi, Stephen Snyder
Justin Dunkelberger-Justin is a prominent member of the PSU wrestling online community.
Dunk's got a sick team. I don't love his bench guys too much but his starting 10 is really strong. He's got the top ranked team right now with an average ranking of 6.3.
125-Nahshon Garrett, Corey Keener
133-Ryan Mango, Sam Sherlock
141-CJ Cobb
149-Jason Tsirtsis
157-Joey Napoli, Josh Kreimier

285-Bobby Telford, Jimmy Lawson
David Early-David is a lifelong fan of wrestling who competed for Yorkville High School in Illinois. He competed collegiately at Loras College. He currently teaches at Plainfield East High School where he coaches football and wrestling.
I like his team. His bench has some good prospects, and the pickup of Coon is huge! He is currently tied for 6th with an average ranking of 7.6.
125-Eddie Klimara
133-George DiCamillo, Joe Roth
141-Mike Nevinger
149-Scott Sakaguchi, Brandon Nelson
157-Dylan Alton
165-Jackson Morse, Cooper Moore
174-Chris Perry, Blake Stauffer
184-Jimmy Sheptock, Jack Dechow
197-Scott Schiller
285-JT Felix, Adam Coon
Tyler Nauman-Another familiar name to wrestling fans, Nauman was a 2 time All American for Pittsburgh and a 4 time EWL champion. He is currently the wrestling coach at Belle Vernon High school.
Nauman had quite a few savvy picks. He's got backups where I think he needed them the most. He's got one guy who I don't think will be competing this year, but he can figure out who that is. :) Tyler currently has the 4th ranked team with an average ranking of 7.09.
125-Jesse Delgado
133-Mason Beckman
141-Joey Lazor
149-Jake Sueflohn, Gus Sako
157-Isaac Jordan, Josh Demas
165-John Staudenmeyer, Corey Mock

184-Jon Fausey, Jackson Hein
197-Taylor Meeks
285-Mike McClure, Ernest James
Bob Shearer-Bob is a coach at Eclipse Wrestling Club in New Jersey.
Bob has a solid team, but one that lacks depth in my opinion. He took some fliers on guys that I'm not so high on. However, that's one guys opinion. He currently has the 10th ranked team with an average ranking of 8.7.
125-Nico Megaludis, Thomas Gilman
133-Joe Colon
141-Richard Durso, Zach Horan
149-Cam Tessari
157-Derek St. John, Taylor Walsh
165-Nick Sulzer, Dylan Palacio
174-Tyler Wilps, Elliot Riddick
184-Kenny Courts, Nolan Boyd
197-Phil Wellington
285-Billy Smith
Nick Velliquette-Nick is the third member of the Flo family to participate in this league. He is the marketing master for Flocasts currently. Nick is a Missouri native who wrestled for Coach Smith at the University of Missouri.
Nick had some nice moments, and some confusing picks. He thinks he's cute drafting Tomasello and Jordan even though their redshirting. He'll soon realize that it is tough to predict when redshirts will be competing, and that they cannot help him in the post season. All that being said, he has a solid team. He currently has the 3rd ranked team with an average ranking of 7.9.
125-Dylan Peters, Nathan Tomasello
133-Tyler Graff
141-Chris Dardanes, Luke Vaith, Jesse Thielke
149-Drake Houdashelt, Eric Grajales,
157-Alex Dieringer, Spartak Chino
165-Dan Yates, Bo Jordan
174-Lee Munster
184-Ethen Lofthouse
197-Mario Gonzalez
285-Jeremy Johnson
