Wyoming Wrestlers Set To Host ‘Grapple at the Gridiron’

 

Free youth clinic takes place at Tailgate Park

 

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Sept. 4, 2013) As part of the festivities for the home opener for the Cowboy football team, the University of Wyoming wrestling program will host the “Grapple at the Gridiron,” a free youth clinic.

 

The UW wrestlers and coaching staff will be on hand Saturday prior to the UW football game versus Idaho, set to kick off at 2 p.m. Registrations for the clinic begin at 11 a.m. in Tailgate Park, located southwest of War Memorial Stadium.

 

The clinic begins at 11:30 a.m. for children in sixth grade or younger, and features feature instruction and supervision by the staff and student-athletes. At the conclusion of the event, the UW wrestlers will put on a live demonstration for participants and fans.

 

As part of the clinic, fans will have the opportunity to pick up the 2013-14 Wyoming wrestling poster and purchase season tickets. Cowboy wrestling season tickets include six home events for only $55.
