In last year's Fargo Cadet 106lb bracket, there were 17 wrestlers who, at some point, were ranked. Pennridge, Pa's Scotty Parker came away with the title.

On Tuesday, Parker had a second dream come true. The 125lb prospect committed to Lehigh, the school he has always wanted to wrestle for.

A two-time state placer and 2012 FloNationals Runner-Up, Parker is ranked 4th in the country at 113. He also appears in the Top 100 on our SR Big Board.

We had a chance to ask Scotty a few questions about his decision.

WS: Why did you choose Lehigh?

SP: I've always wanted to go there since I first started wrestling and it just felt like the right fit for me.

WS: What is your relationship like with the coaches and wrestlers at Lehigh?

SP: My relationships with the coaches and wrestlers are really good. I love the coaches and the whole team is like a family. I have some friends on the team already and I'm looking forward to getting closer with the rest of the team.

WS: What was the recruiting experience like for you?

SP: It was really enjoyable. Getting to visit all the different schools was great and I met a lot of new people.

WS: What other schools were you considering?

SP: I was also looking at Princeton, Penn, Bucknell, and Brown.

WS: What are your plans for the rest of the summer?

SP: I plan on just training and trying to put on a little more size.

WS: Anything else you'd like to say?

SP: I just want to thank my family and coaches for being with me through this whole process. And go Lehigh!

Congrats to the Parker Family and the Lehigh Wrestling Community!
