USA Olympian Ken Chertow will be coming to Palatine, IL, June 28-30, to conduct his annual Gold Medal Training Camp at Harper College. Coach Chertow is a three-time NCAA All-American and three-time NCAA Academic All-American at Penn State University. Coach Chertow is very involved at every camp, personally teaching every day throughout the summer along with his incredible staff. He has been involved in the coaching and teaching of wrestling for over 20 years, and in that time he has coached the Penn State and Ohio State wrestling teams. We welcome you for a visit. There are many great story lines we could take: an Olympian in your town; the all-star staff joining Coach Chertow including four-time NCAA All-American Mike Mena; and the local schools/athletes in attendance, including a group from MadDog Wrestling Academy. This would also be a great opportunity to discuss efforts to keep wrestling in the Olympics with Coach Chertow. We are open to other story ideas as well. We would appreciate you printing or broadcasting a camp announcement to let local athletes know about this opportunity.
