Cadet Duals: Who To Watch For

Dual Season is here. Schoolboys wrapped up last weekend with Illinois once again being the state everyone has to go through to get the title. PA was able to do that in Greco, beating Illinois in the finals. But Illinois exacted revenge with a win over PA in the Freestyle finals.

In the last four years, no state has been as consistent as Illinois. Yes, they've been bested a few times, but they've won the most titles at Cadet and Junior Duals and at Fargo, and it's not even close.

Here are the Land of Lincoln's results at Duals since 2009:

In the last two years, Illinois has won 7 of the 8 dual crowns. Pennsylvania won a narrow 33-31 decision in the finals of Cadet FS last year.

Looking over the rosters, it appears that Illinois will be the favorites again, and that if anyone can knocked them off, it will be PA in Freestyle.
