The Indiana University wrestling team (6-4) welcomes a top-five opponent to University Gym for the second straight weekend, playing host to #5 Ohio State (7-2) Friday night at 7 p.m.

COACH RYAN RETURNS
Ohio State head coach Tom Ryan is not a stranger to Bloomington, serving as an assistant coach under Duane Goldman from 1992-94.

50th MIDLANDS
Indiana finished 19th out of 56 teams at the 50th running of the Midlands despite competing at just six weight classes due to injury and illness crippling the lineup.

Redshirt sophomore Taylor Walsh led the way for IU, placing fourth in the nationÂ’s elite amateur wrestling tournament. He was seeded 10th at 157 pounds and bested three fellow seeded wrestlers, including the second-, seventh- and 11th-seeded foes.

NATIONALLY-RANKED HOOSIERS
Each of IUÂ’s three returning NCAA Qualifiers are ranked amongst the countryÂ’s elite once again this season. This trio of Hoosiers can be found in the most recent national rankings:

#9 Taylor Walsh (157 lbs.)
#11 Adam Chalfant (285 lbs.)
#12 Ryan LeBlanc (165 lbs.)

BIG TEN DOING BIG THINGS
As a conference, the Big Ten is a combined 67-14 in 81 non-conference duals so far during the 2012-13 campaign, good for a 82.7 winning percentage.
