The quarters and semi’s were filled with top talent. Now the bouts for the coveted Ironman title is set. 

Below are the match-ups which you can see live on Tech Wave tonight at 6PM Eastern.

Finals will begin at 170lbs and conclude at 160 where #1-Bo Jordan and #2-Isaiah Martinez will tangle for the title for the second straight year.

 
 
 
106lbs:
#13-So. Eli Stickley, Graham, OH vs. #10-So. Jose Rodriguez, Perry, OH

Credentials: Stickley 5th in the state last year and 6th at Super 32 in October. Rodriguez was a State Runner-Up in New York and placed 4th at Super 32.



113lbs:
#1-So. Zahid Valencia, St. John Bosco, CA vs. #11-So. Ke-Shawn Hayes, Park Hill, MO

Credentials: Valencia has won Fargo, FloNationals, and State titles, and is a returning Ironman Champ. Hayes was 3rd in Fargo FS each of the last two years.



120lbs:
#1-Sr. Nathan Tomasello, CVCA, OH vs. #2-So. Matt Kolodzik, Blair, NJ

Credentials: This is a match between the Junior (Tomasello) and Cadet (Kolodzik) Freestyle National Champions. Tomasello is looking for his third Ironman title. Kolodzik was a Runner-Up here last year.



126lbs:
#1-Sr. Joey Dance, Christiansburg, VA vs. HM-Sr. Judson Preskitt, Wy Sem, PA

Credentials: Dance has won everything under the sun, including Fila Jr.’s this summer to make the JR World Team. Preskitt is a transfer from Bishop Lynch, TX where he was a 2x National Prep placer.



132lbs:
#2-Fr. Aaron Pico, St. John Bosco, CA vs. #10-Micah Jordan, Graham, OH

Credentials: Pico won four Fargo titles and reached Super32 finals before stepping foot on a mat as an official High Schooler. Jordan is a two-time State Champion, but had not placed at Ironman prior to this year.



138lbs: 
#1-Sr. Zain Retherford, Benton, Pa vs. #8-Fr. Mason Manville, Blair, NJ

Credentials: Retherford won all there was to win this summer: Fila’s, Fargo, Cadet Worlds, and Super 32. Manville was a Double Fargo finalist this summer, winning the title in Greco.



145lbs:
HM-Jr. Jake Danishek, Dayton Christian, OH vs. #5-Sr. Edgar Bright, St. Edward, OH

Credentials: Danishek is a two-time State Champion in Ohio’s small school division. Bright hasn’t yet won a state title, but was a runner-up here and a 2011 Fargo Cadet Freestyle Champ.



152lbs: 
Fr. Alex Marinelli, Graham, OH vs. #7-Sr. Russ Parsons, Blair, NJ

Credentials: Marinelli makes the finals in his first High School major. He’s ranked #25 on our Fr. Big Board. Parsons was a National Prep Champ last year and a placer at Ironman the previous to years.



160lbs: 
#1-Sr. Bo Jordan, Graham, OH vs. #2-Sr. Isaiah Martinez, Lemoore, CA

Credentials: This is a rematch of last year’s finals at 152. Bo is a three-time State Champ and is looking for his third consecutive Ironman crown. Martinez has won two California and Fargo titles, and one FloNationals and Super32 crown.



170lbs: 
#8-Sr. Zach Epperly, Christiansburg, VA vs. #2-Sr. Cody Wiercioch, Canon-Mac, Pa

Credentials: Epperly has placed at Fargo and Super 32 and was last year’s Beast of the East Champ. Wiercioch is a 3x State Finalist and 2x Super 32 Champion.



182lbs: 
#1-Sr. Eric Morris, Wy Sem, Pa vs. #4- BJ Toal, Troy Christian, OH

Credentials: Morris is a returning Ironman finalist. He has titles from Fargo, Prep, and Beast of the East. Toal is a State Champion and a Super 32 Runner-Up.



195lbs: 
#5-Sr. Frank Mattiace, Blair, NJ vs. Jr. Gabe Dzuro, St. Edward, OH

Credentials: Mattiace is a returning Ironman Champ and went on to win National Preps. Dzuro is a first year starter for the Eagles.



220lbs: 
#2-Sr. Kyle Snyder, Good Counsel, Md vs. HM-Sr. Alex Campbell, Canon-Mac, Pa #5-Sr. Garrett Ryan, Wy Sem, Pa

Credentials: Snyder is a defending Ironman Champion. He's also won titles at FloNationals, National Preps, Beast of the East, Super 32, and Fargo. Campbell placed 5th at the PA State tournament last year and was Runner-Up at the Powerade.


HWT:
#2-Sr. Brooks Black, Blair, NJ vs. #6-So. Michael Johnson, Wy Sem, Pa

Credentials: Black is looking for his third Ironman Crown. He has also won titles at Powerade, Beast of the East, Cheesehead, National Preps, Fila’s, and Fargo. Johnson was a Runner-Up to Black last year at National Preps and 4th here at Ironman.
