Pair of OSU Wrestling Matches to be Televised on Pac-12 Networks
OSU one of two schools to have a pair of matches broadcast live on the Networks
CORVALLIS, Ore. –The Oregon State wrestling team will have two of its matches televised on the
newly formed Pac-12 Networks this winter in addition to the Pac-12 Championships, which take place at the end of the regular season.
The Beavers, ranked pre-season No. 9 by D1 College Wrestling, will be on TV for their first home match of 2013, when they host Boise State, Jan. 5 in Gill Coliseum. Their
second televised match will take place Feb. 9 against Arizona State, also in Corvallis.
Oregon State matches make-up half of all the live wrestling broadcasts on the Pac-12 Networks during the 2012-13 regular season, with Arizona State the only other school to
appear on the channel more than once.
The Pac-12 Championships are hosted by the Sun Devils and will take place on March 2, in Tempe. Last year Oregon State finished first in the event taking home the school’s
second conference title in three seasons.
