Ke-Shawn Hayes in my man, fifty grand. I’m taking him all day. He was 3rd here last year, won Southern Plains, and went undefeated in both Cadet and Junior Duals. Find me someone else that did that!
That being said, it’s not in the bag. There’s a host of legitimate contenders. The bracket is beastly, and navigating it will be a tremendous accomplishment.
Assad was a Runner-Up last year and 3rd at Fila’s. Brock is a returning 3rd placer and went unscathed at duals.
Colunga won Western’s. DeShazer won Southern Plains.
Joseph is about as good as anyone in the country. He was a Runner-Up on Monday.
Kutler is this year’s Fila Champ at 101. Simmons went undefeated in both styles at JR Duals.
Note: Luke Pletcher is listed in Track. But he’s informed me he’s unable to attend.
