The United States competed in the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan this past weekend and placed 3rd as a team, finishing ahead of them were Iran and Azerbaijan in first and second, respectively. The United States crowned three individual gold medalists in Coleman Scott 60kg, Jordan Burroughs 74kg and Tervel Dlagnev 120kg. At  55kg Sam Hazewinkel took home a bronze medal. The USA went 4-1 in dual meets with wins over Japan, Turkey, Russia and Georgia, their lone loss was to Iran.
